Mood Music Player.
Music that fits how you feel.

MeloTune picks from how the music feels — not from what you already played. Focus, unwind, sleep, energy: set the mood and it finds music whose feeling sits there, including artists you've never heard, and plays it through Apple Music, Spotify Premium or your local library. Touch the map: every square is one of its 400 moods, and the page takes the colour the app would wear.

Why MeloTune

A mood playlist is usually your history, rephrased.

Streaming services build "mood" from what you already played, so the same songs come back wearing a new name. MeloTune starts from the music instead: where each artist sits on a map of feeling. Set the mood, and the pick can be something you have never heard.

It knows the music
23,093

artists placed by hand.

Every artist MeloTune knows has a home on the 400-mood map — placed by people, not inferred from your plays. That is how a pick can be something you have never heard.

It learns only from you

What you say teaches it. What you do doesn't.

A heart, an add-to-playlist, a captured moment, a rejected artist — those are declarations, and they shape what comes next. A skip or a track that played through says nothing about how you felt, so it teaches nothing.

Mood first, taste second
E·N

Taste never outranks the mood.

Your taste reorders music that already fits the mood you set; it never replaces it. Ready For You says what each pick is for and how sure it is.

It starts with you

Open it and it plays. The pick already knows why.

Ready For You runs on what MeloTune has learned about you — not the time of day — and remembers its picture of you between sessions. Pure on-device prediction. You don't rate; you just play.

  • 01From the first second. The station picked for you is playing when you open the app; its card shows it. Tap to pause, tap again to resume.
  • 02Says why. ENERGIZE · SURE · CALM · LEARNING. Dismiss means something — wave a pick away and it won't come straight back.
  • 03Never interrupts. Music already playing keeps playing. Autoplay is a switch in Settings → Music Service.

Where do you want to be?

Focus. Unwind. Sleep. Energy.

The map's most-asked corners — each with the app's own presets and the exact emotion · energy they're curated at. Or say where you want to end up and let a Journey take you.

Journeys

Say where you want to end up.

Calmer, lifted, focused — and 20, 40 or 60 minutes. MeloTune charts the whole route first and hands it to your music app as one queue, so it plays through with the phone locked, and shows the route as you travel it.

  • 01Pick the destination. Wind down, calm warmth, focus, lift up, fire up, soften — and how long you've got.
  • 02Travel it. The route is drawn around the clock; the orb wears the mood you're passing through. It keeps its place if you leave and come back.
  • 03Arrive. The destination is yours. Past journeys wait below with AGAIN.

Memory

See where your listening has actually been.

Your listening laid out by mood — a week, a month, a season. Brighter squares are the moods you keep returning to; hue is the dominant genre. Tap a square to hear that moment again. And every Sunday, the constellation — the week you actually had, named after the mood you spent the most time in.

  • 01Tap a square. See what played there. LISTEN plays the moment again.
  • 02Flip for the patterns. Two or three observations from your week, written on your phone.
  • 03Sunday Constellation. Shareable. A week too quiet to name simply waits.

Same chassis. Colour speaks the genre back.

Dial, Meters, Tracks, Memory — one chassis, and the accent colour is the mood of whatever's playing. Lilac for R&B and post-classical, amber for the nostalgic and the locked-in. You read the mood off the chrome before the music starts. Genre Lock holds the lane; Mood Lock holds the feeling.

For Apple Music listeners

Your first sound comes from your own history.

Connect Apple Music and MeloTune starts you in the genre you actually play most — read on your phone, never uploaded. What it finds, you keep.

Keep

Keep what it finds. In Apple Music.

Tap the Apple Music pill under the player → Keep in Apple Music. The curation becomes a playlist in your library, named for the mood.

❤ into your library, if you want: Settings → Music Service → "Add ❤ tracks to my Apple Music library" (off by default).

Your services

Apple Music, Spotify Premium, or your local library.

MeloTune curates; your music app plays. Switch services and the same stations follow. Local files get the same mood matching, offline.

Curate as much as you like — dial, genres, stations, voice — with no account and no login.

Mood Mesh + Privacy

On-device by default. Only mood crosses the room.

Two phones on the same wifi become coupled agents on the same mesh — peer-to-peer, no accounts, no server by default. Mates and rooms are end-to-end encrypted between the two phones. Your listening history never leaves your phone.

  • 01What crosses. Emotion and energy. For Mates, a taste signature — genre weights and hashed artist names. Never tracks, never history.
  • 02Influence control. Off · Gentle · Responsive.
  • 03Your wifi, or your own relay. Local by default over Bonjour. Long-distance friends can point MeloTune at a relay they run — no shared server ships in the app.
  • 04AI built in. Nothing to set up, no account, no key — MeloTune's hosted AI answers without storing your requests, and Apple Intelligence steps in on-device when it can't be reached.
